Our mission is to transform the way buildings and communities in South Carolina are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life. Our vision is that buildings and communities in South Carolina will regenerate and sustain the health and vitality of all life within a generation. The South Carolina Chapter delivers on its mission through the following strategic programs: Education; Enhance professionals’ skills for implementing a sustainable built environment, Advocacy; influence public policy in support of green building principles, Sustain SC; hold annual conference that provides diverse education, raises community awareness and generates revenue, Community Engagement; raise awareness and encourage action.
